The one guy who drew the shorter end of the stick in the last episode’s drilling explosion is Max Williamson. Thankfully he did get out of that accident with only minor injuries and came back to work after only a week. According to Marty, the whole thing could have ended much worse. If the coupling had hit him in the head, he could be dead, plus if he wasn’t wearing those protective goggles, he might have lost his sight as well.
