2018 Mercedes-AMG Project One May Look Stunning

So far, we have had a chance to see only two teaser photos of Mercedes-AMG Project One supercar, but fortunately enough there are renderings which show us what the production model might look like. The new car goes under the code name of Project One, and the German car giant will try to fascinate the crowd with one of the best supercars ever made.

The Project One will sport a hybrid drivetrain that comes from F1. The engine that will power this car will be the turbocharged 1.6-liter V6 together with a KERS energy recovery system that can be found in the W07 race car. The complete output of the system will be almost 1,000 horsepower at more than 10,000 rpm while the vehicle will be equipped with a 4WD system and the electric motors will drive the front axle.

The rear end of the 2018 Mercedes-AMG Project One is basically the huge exit for all the hot air that is coming from the engine system. Mercedes-AMG plans to introduce this car at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show in September and deliveries will start in the middle of 2018. Even though this is an expensive vehicle, it will be sold in the blink of an eye and will easily find its way to many private collections.
