A Big Bang Theory, one of the most famous and most-watched comedy series worldwide, is perhaps on the verge of having its twist in the tail after the ten successful seasons. Instead of ending the show, the TV producers are toying with the idea of making a spin-off which would be based on the early life of one of the leading characters – Sheldon Cooper. The new TV series would be focusing on Sheldon’s teenage life and everything that has created the character that we have been watching on our screens for almost ten years now and that we know very well.

Apart from Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper), who would be the executive producer of the show, the cast of the spin-off would be completely changed. However, Parsons would most likely be working side by side with the permanent team: Chuck Lorre, Steve Molaro, and co-creator Bill Prady. The question that could be posed here is whether the audience would be able to accept the new Sheldon Cooper and every change brought by the possible end of “one era“ of the show.

Nonetheless, the huge fan base is still able to enjoy the Season 10 of Big Bang Theory as well as its beloved cast Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Mayim Bialik, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar and of course, Jim Parsons. While the idea of a spin-off is still marked as being in progress, it only remains to wait and see what this prequel would bring upon its realization. Looking at the popularity of currently aired TV Show it is quite possible to see another comedy hit.
