BlackBerry Ltd (BBRY) Announces New Holiday Deals: Discounts, iPhone Trade-up

BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) has come up with many exciting offers for the festive season and those who wish to buy a Blackberry smartphone will now be able to buy it at a lower price and more easily.

BlackBerry Passport Trade-Up Program has been launched, and is designed to help the existing iPhone users willing to migrate to BlackBerry Passport do so. Under this scheme, which will start on the December 1st and last for a limited time, the iPhone users upgrading to Passport will get a cash back of up to $400 USD/CAD. BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) will give them an additional $150 USD ($200 CAD) via a Visa(TM) Prepaid Card.

The program is for North America only from December 1, 2014 to February 13, 2015. Apple iPhone 4S, 5, 5C, 5S, and 6 are the qualifying phones for the program. The customers eligible for the program will have to submit the iPhone device and valid proof of a BlackBerry Passport. The condition and value of the traded iPhone will determine the promotional value.

Only those BlackBerry Passport devices will be qualifying for the program that are purchased from ShopBlackBerry.com or purchased from, shipped from and sold by Amazon.com after December 1, 2014.

Black Friday deals from BlackBerry

Deals on BlackBerry Passport and BlackBerry Z30 are also offered on the Black Friday by the company. The black BlackBerry Passport will be offered for $100 USD/CAD less for a limited time beginning November 22nd. That makes new Passport available at $499 USD for the U.S. customers and the Canadian customers can get the device for $599 CAD.

ShopBlackBerry.com makes this offer available for the customers in the U.S. and Canada and Amazon.com in the U.S. only. Also, the company is offering $275 USD in the U.S. and $250 CAD off in Canada on buying the BlackBerry Z30 from ShopBlackberry.com, customers will be offered a new discount as well. No tax or shipping costs are included in the discounted prices of all devices.

The company has partnered with PayPal, and any purchase above $200 can be made through it with the full balance to be paid off before the due date mentioned on their statements. They can also opt for the 6 months installment option.
