Breaking: Ranallo Back With The WWE

Mauro Ranallo is probably the best commentator that WWE has right now on their payroll. But, they really didn’t use him in the past couple of months as he was involved with JBL and the bullying story. Ranallo and the company had reached an agreement to end their partnership, Mauro was working with other promotions that were not wrestling ones, and he was waiting for his contract to run out.

Well, WWE didn’t want to let go of one of the best commentators in the wrestling world today, but they didn’t want to keep him on SmackDown Live as well. Since Graves left the commentating desk down in the NXT, the commentary just wasn’t the same. NXT needs a voice that is going to lead this brand going forward, and Triple H picked just the perfect guy for the job.

Now, Mauro Ranallo is not going to be leaving the WWE. Instead, he is going to be the voice of the NXT that this brand needs. It seems that this is a win-win situation for both sides. Ranallo is going to really like the new environment that he will work in as NXT is more of a show where he would fit in. Here is what he wrote on his Instagram page.

“WWE and I mutually agreed to end my responsibilities on SmackDown having nothing to do with rumors about disputes. As I remained under contract with WWE, we discussed a variety of options. Despite originally agreeing to part ways, there was always a desire to continue working together. We have come to terms on a new agreement that benefits both WWE and me, and I am thrilled to announce I will now be part of the NXT broadcasting team.”
