Chevrolet Traverse And GMC Terrain Are Ready For The Detroit Unveil

The 2017 Detroit Auto Show is in January, and we will have a chance to see a lot of amazing vehicles. We can’t wait to take a closer look at the new Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Terrain, which will be presented by General Motors.

The GMC Terrain has been on a production line since 2009, and over the course of seven years, there has been a small number of changes. The same goes with the Traverse – the production started in 2009, and this vehicle didn’t see a lot of major improvements. It comes as no surprise that GM decided to refresh these two vehicles now when SUVs and crossovers are gaining more popularity every day.

The Wall Street Journal wrote a report about these two models, but a GM spokesman was reluctant to make any comments. Nevertheless, the insiders claim that these two cars will debut at the same time in Detroit and that they should reach production in 2017 as 2018 MY.

Be that as it may, there is a possibility that the brand new version of Traverse is going to have the same platform that can be found on the 2017 GMC Acadia. What this means is that the new vehicle will shed some serious weight, but we are still far from possibility to predict how much weight reduction this could bring.
