First of all, we would like to provide a brief review for those of you that might not know much about the series. “Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri” is the TV anime adaptation of Takumi Yanai’s novel that started broadcasting in July 2015. This adventure action series revolves around the battle between the heroes and villains, i.e. between good and evil, which is an all-time popular storyline among viewers.
“Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri” was well received by the audience and critics, so the producers decided to waste no time and start with the further development of the series. Thus, the second season was released in January this year. It gained more and more popularity over the course of time, so the upcoming installment is now highly anticipated.
Gate – Plot Summary
The main character of the story is Yoji Itami, a smart young man who has to deal with a rather difficult task – he needs to facilitate negotiations between Japan and the Empire. In order to do that, he turns to some of his old friends and princess Pina for help. They go on this mission, but, as you might guess, they have to face with numerous unexpected problems and fight with more villains than they thought they would in the first place. The team comes to know that some senators and a cruel prince, Zorzal, support the King of the Empire. Bearing that in mind, we assume you can’t help but wonder if our heroes can manage to cope with all of these difficulties. If you want to find that out, don’t miss the new season!
Gate Season 3 Premiere Date
Unfortunately, A-1 Pictures studio has not confirmed when the new season will air. However, we do know for sure that the crew members who worked on the first two installments are to stay and work on the Season 3 production as well, so we may say that its success is guaranteed. The important thing is that it has been confirmed that the new season will be delivered and we will make sure you know the new details as soon as we find out more about your favorite anime.
