Haikyuu Season 3 ended leaving its numerous fans wondering what the next sequel would bring. That’s a reason good enough for them to think that Season 4 will be released as soon as possible.
According to some reports continuation of the Haikyuu story is expected to be delivered very soon, although there hasn’t been any official announcement by I. G. regarding the renewal of the TV show. Nonetheless, rumor has it that the production team has already started doing its job and preparing the new season for us.
New information on GameNGuide suggests that I. G. was working on the fourth season even while the third season of the anime was airing. This would mean that the release date might come sooner than we expected. Some reports even suggest it will be sometime this year.
However, there might be some changes in the cast of Haikyuu Season 4. Namely, in the third season, Tobio Kageyama got an invitation further to improve his skills in a training camp. Obviously, Tobio has qualifications for this opportunity available only to skillful and well-known athletes.
Rare opportunity as this is, Tobio has to face it and decide whether he will embrace it or let it go. This means he will decide on it in Season 4, which will hopefully air soon.
Furthermore, there is supposed to be a rematch between Karasuno High and Shiratorizawa Academy, which will probably be shown in the sequel, as well. Fans seem to be hoping that Academy will not lose twice against the same opponent. This shouldn’t be the case, especially because it was a highly surprising defeat for Shiratorizawa Academy.
With all that’s left unsaid and unfinished, everyone is hoping that Haikyuu Season 4 will hit small screens sooner than expected. If that’s the case, its loyal fans will finally get answers to their questions and be able to enjoy the latest episodes from the comfort of their homes.
