We are just a couple of days away from the second biggest WWE event of the year and from watching one of the best concepts in the history of the company in its full glory. The Royal Rumble match is one of the most memorable battles of the year, and WWE always wants to make it as big as possible.
Royal Rumble last year was live from the Alamodome, a place that is capable of hosting more than 50,000 people. The NXT Takeover was also live from the AT&T Arena in San Antonio. This year, WWE chose to come back to Philly, one of the most popular wrestling cities in the country together with a couple of big markets like LA or Chicago.
The location for the next year’s WWE Royal Rumble has been already revealed, and it is going to be a big one. For the first time ever, the event is going to be held at the Baseball Stadium. Phoenix, Arizona, and their Chase Field are going to be the hosts of the Royal Ruble 2019!
This baseball stadium has the capacity of over 40,000 seats which is going to be more than enough to make this event as big as it can possibly be. The fact that Royal Rumble is going to be outdoors, in January, is a pretty cool thing. You know that it’s always hot in Arizona so this event being in the winter and outdoors is not going to be a problem.
Sticking Resort Arena in Phoenix is also going to be a place where NXT Takeover is going to be on Saturday Night, a day before the Rumble. Following episodes of Raw and Smackdown are also going to be live from the same arena in Phoenix, Arizona.
