8Lance Henriksen was close to getting into the role of the Terminator

Cameron’s first vision of the movie was to have Lance Henriksen, who had taken a role of Steve Kimbrough in his previous movie Piranha II: The Spawning, as the Terminator. Even though James gave up that idea, he cast him as a futuristic machine man, Bishop, in his movie Aliens.
