In The Last Jedi, Kylo Ren is torn between the Light and Dark sides, and he kills Supreme Leader Snoke after which he offers Rey a chance for a fresh start, but she turns him down. It will be interesting to see how their relationship develops in the last film as this will certainly be addressed.
