2017 Nissan Rogue Sport – Pricing Details Released

Nissan has officially announced the pricing details for its 2017 Rogue Sport model which sits right below the standard Rogue. This smaller crossover is going to start at $22,380 (including destination) which is slightly cheaper than the regular Rogue which costs $24,760.

According to the previous reports, the 2017 Nissan Rogue is a foot longer than the Rogue Sport, but its wheelbase is longer by only 2.3 inches. The other difference is that the vehicle with the addition of Sport in its name doesn’t have an option to add the third row of seats, but all of its versions get power from a 2.0-liter I4 unit which produces 141 hp and 147 lb-ft of torque.

The engine is paired with a Xtronic CVT with Eco Mode, and the transmission sends power to the front wheels or all four wheels depending on what you have chosen. The FWD configuration is standard, but you can opt for an AWD system and if you want to add it be prepared to shell out $1,350 additional. The Rogue Sport is available in three different trims. We have already mentioned the price of the base model, while the other two variants are called Rogue Sport SV and SL and their starting price is $23,980 and $27,030 respectively.

Nissan offers Safety Shield suite in the 2017 Rogue Sport, and it includes forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure prevention, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, forward emergency braking and rear cross traffic alert.

The leather seats are quite comfortable, promising fatigue free ride. The front seats are also heated, while there is SiriusXM satellite radio capability, a 7.0-inch NissanConnect touchscreen with navigation and app integration. Among other features, you can find a rearview camera, company’s Around View Monitor and Dived-N-Hide Cargo System, adaptive cruise control, etc.
