When Jason Witten decided to retire, everyone was quite surprised. After this, number one TE on America’s Team is Geoff Swaim with a total of nine catches in his career which doesn’t sound all that promising. There are few young players that could be the Cowboys future, but they also need someone to lead them during the season that is coming.

Buccaneers decided to shell out $41 million for a six-year deal with Cameron Brate, but O.J. Howard, last year first round pick, had a good season and managed to match Brate’s six touchdown score. Howard is definitely a future of Tampa Bay, and he might be even better than Brate during the 2018 campaign which could be the signal for Buccaneers to send out Cameron Brate. We are pretty sure that Dallas might not want to spend $6.8 million per year on a Buccaneers’ player as that was the figure that was reserved for Witten. On the other hand, Brate is only 26, meaning that he has at least a few more years to play giving America’s Team time to get more players at that position.
