Two starting cornerbacks for Dallas are Chidobe Awuzie and Byron Jones and they have proven their worth up to this point. Not the same can be said for Anthony Brown and Jourdan Lewis who have been struggling in the preseason. In the past, these two players showed they had potential and skill to contribute for the team from Texas.

Even though they combined for four coverage penalties in just two preseason games, we have to give them the benefit of the doubt. And let’s recall that these weren’t the penalties committed by being too aggressive at the line of scrimmage, which is something the new secondary coach Kris Richard approves. These were interference penalties because they failed to locate the ball in time.

What are the players Dallas currently has for this position behind them? Marquez White was in the practice squad last year, but UDFA’s Charvarius Ward and Donovan Olumba are also some of the options as well as Duke Thomas. Another veteran might be what The Boys need here.
