According to Sergio Marchionne, Ferrari is never going to assemble a crossover, but Car Magazine reports indicate that one will roll out of Ferrari’s factory in 2024. This publication says that the Italian carmaker is diligently working on the new and the company’s first crossover which is codenamed the F16X.

This crossover is going to rival the Aston Martin DBX and Lamborghini Urus, and it will resemble a “high-riding coupe” with Ferrari design cues. Rumor has it that the new crossover will come without regular B-pillar and with rear suicide doors.

Ferrari is also developing the GTC4 successor alongside the F16X, and this model is going to hit the market in 2024. When it comes to the crossover, it should be based on a lightweight aluminum platform.

It is still early to talk about performance figures, especially because the model hasn’t been confirmed by the manufacturer yet. However, the report suggests that a V8 engine will be under the hood of the crossover and there is a possibility of a hybrid powertrain. The transmission remains unknown, but an AWD configuration is speculated.

We warn you to take this report with a grain of salt because we still don’t have single concrete information from Ferrari’s officials. Regardless, if Ferrari decides to produce a crossover and add it to the rage, it should cost more than €300,000 or $342,135. Hopefully, the F16X could increase the annual sales of the company and satisfy many future customers.

We would really love to see a crossover with the Ferrari badge on it. How about you? Follow us for more details.
