6In-Screen Fingerprint Sensor – Samsung creating history
The phone from China’s Vivo which is unnamed and unreleased, features a fingerprint reader which is built into the screen. The company which makes the fingerprint reader is Synaptic, but will it be featured in the new Samsung Galaxy S9?
There were reports that this technology would be installed on the previous Galaxy phones as well as the iPhone X. Since this didn’t happen, rumor has it that the new Galaxy S9 will feature this option. What this would do is to allow the manufacturers to use the entire phone screen for your apps without the need to reduce the screen because a physical button is required. Also, by moving the fingerprint reader to the front, it would no longer be next to the camera lens as it is the case with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8.
