Cowboys Lose Their Final Regular Season Game

In a game that had no meaning and in which a lot of the Dallas Cowboys backups saw the field, Jerry Jones’ squad fell to the Philadelphia Eagles on the road. Dallas now finishes the year 13-3, right behind the New England Patriots for the second-best record in the NFL, but the best in the whole NFC.

The most important thing in this duel happened in the second quarter of the game when Romo took the field. He led the team to the red zone for Cowboys’ only touchdown of the match. He played only on that scoring drive, and Mark Sanchez replaced him and played all the way to the end.

But, Sanchez wasn’t able to do a thing in this duel against questionable Philly’s defense. If you were wondering why Mark Sanchez is only a third-stringer on an NFL team, you have your question answered after that performance.

He played during the whole second half of the game but was only able to put up six points on the board. That’s all that he was able to achieve while the Eagles were able to get twice into the end zone.

In other news, Zeke Elliot had an off day, just like Dez Bryant and a couple of big playmakers on the defensive side of the ball that Dallas is going to need at their best two weeks from now. Cowboys will now have 14 days to rest and prepare for the biggest moments of the season. In a big picture, this loss really doesn’t mean much for Dallas.
