Dallas Cowboys Will Be in Playoffs Only If…

2Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions need to lose one game as well. Or do they?

Now, we are taking the calculations to the next level. Both the Packers and the Lions currently have the same score as the Cowboys – 7-6. If they all get three wins, they will both end at 10-6, but both the Packers and Lions will have the edge over the Cowboys in that scenario. This means that those two squads need to lose at least one game.

Green Bay faces the Panthers on Sunday, whereas they will also play against the Vikings and the Lions. This means that the Lions are facing the Packers in the final week, but before that, they will take on the Chicago Bears and play against the Cincinnati Bengals. This is where it gets interesting. BOTH Atlanta Falcons and Carolina need to lose one game in which case the Packers could be the ones to come up with a loss, or they could leave that privilege to the Lions. The bottom line is that in this scenario only one of those two teams (Packers OR the Lions) need to lose ONE game.
