Dez Bryant Hairline Fracture In Knee

Another problem with Dallas Cowboys as we could hear reports about Dez Bryant knee injury. Finally, he has been diagnosed but unfortunately it doesn’t look all that great. After thorough examinations, it seems that wide receiver has a hairline fracture in the knee.

He probably earned this injury in the match against Chicago Bears when he went down awkwardly. Even that happened he was back on the field to finish the job in Cowboys win 31:17. In that game, he got his first TD pass in season and in a hard move he had no problems with his knee.

Here is what Garrett said on a conference call: “He did not practice today, and we’re hopeful that he’ll be able to play. We’re taking the situation day-by-day. Hopefully, he can do something tomorrow. He has a slight hairline fracture in one of the bones in his knees. We don’t think it’s something that’s going to keep him out for an extended period of time, but it’s going to be a day-by-day, week-by-week situation.”

What we think is that no one knows what will happen and that it is a smart decision for Cowboys to go easy and slow. After we saw him with crutches and not leaning on his knee, we can assume that he will miss out the next game. According to reports he got injured during the match but continued and played like he had no problems which also could suggest that he will be ready for the upcoming duel.

Officials from Dallas simply said that they would rather wait for their player to fully recover than to risk a more severe injury that could kick him off the team for a longer period. It is possible that Dez Bryant will pause for three to five weeks due to a hairline fracture in the knee, but this heavily depends on how he responds to treatments.

Next game for Cowboys is against 49ers and to be honest, their defense is one of the worst. This could be the ideal time for Bryant to rest and try to fully heal as Cole Beasley, Jason Witten, and Terrance Williams should be more than enough to beat a team from San Francisco.

Just as a reminder, Dez had fantastic 2014 season but about a year ago broken bone in his foot sent him off the field for six weeks. After the return, he wasn’t able to show same moves like in his previous season. When it comes to this year, we could see decent results with 11 catches for 150 yards and one touchdown.

Another problem that has been reported is the missed MRI exam that was scheduled for him on Tuesday. Because of this and because of the fact that he missed few team meetings he will most likely be fined.
