Dez Bryant – this is “the best” Cowboys team he has played for!

Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, while speaking for gathered reporters Wednesday at OTAs said that this is definitely “the best” team he’s ever played for.

When he chatted with the reporters, Dez stated “I’m excited. I can’t wait for training camp. I’m ready to lead, I’m ready to get back, and I’m ready for the season to start. I’m praying every day. I just want me, this whole team, to be injury-free because we got something special. The sky can be the limit for us.” If you recall, since we are on the topic of injuries, Bryant, 28, missed three games in 2016 and spent most of the season battling through nagging injuries. Thanks to that he actually finished the season with 50 receptions for 796 yards and eight touchdowns. That is the second year in a row he managed to come under 1.000 yards mark thanks to the pesky injuries.

Dez tried to explain to reporters just how the rosters change in NFL and he stated “It’s a business. You gotta treat your body like a Bugatti. That’s how I look at it.” To those who didn’t follow last season, The Cowboys went 13-3 on their way to the NFC East championship. Unfortunately, they managed to lose from the Green Bay Packers on a last-second field goal in the NFC divisional round game. In that match, Dez pulled off nine receptions for 132 yards and two of Dak Prescott’s three passing touchdowns in the duel. Prescott received heaping praise from Bryant during his media session. Dez told the reporters “The way he approaches the game is second to none…It feels like he’s been here for a good five years.”

Prescott, of course, is now heading into his second NFL season, even more confident because the keys to the Cowboys franchise were officially handed over to the Mississippi State product when their star QB Tony Romo retired this off-season in order to join CBS’ broadcast booth. The happening regarding Romo then and now can be followed here on our site. Be sure to check it out if you haven’t already!
