Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle managed to make a great result at the box office as it became one of the highest grossing movies of the year. Thus, it’s nothing strange to see that the crew is excited to start the filming of the sequel. One of the actors eagerly awaiting the continuation of the story is Kevin Hart, but it seems that not everything was all that great on the set of the first installment.

According to Hart, the second part of this franchise is definitely in the works: “We are absolutely, positively making the movie. It’s just a timeframe of when we are doing it that we are working out now.” The thing that Kevin didn’t like about the first one is the constant pranks of Dwayne Johnson that made the filming location even scarier for him.

It is a well-known fact that Hart doesn’t like insects and The Rock decided to exploit this as much as he could. “He was pretty out of control when we were in Hawaii shooting because he knows I don’t like insects. He would plant fake spiders and snakes around me to scare me. I didn’t like that at all,” he said. He even came up with a solution: “Hopefully we green screen all of Jumanji 2.”

There is no doubt that two Jumanji stars are close friends and Hart said that he is quite pumped because of another opportunity to work with Dwayne, even he will definitely prank him many more times on the set. “We do great work together. That chemistry isn’t forced, it’s real. When you have an opportunity to continue and keep it going you step up to the plate.”

With a $959 million at the box office, it is an easy call to make another movie and start another franchise that, this time, will be pushed by stars like Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan. Johnson also confirmed the sequel but also said that one character would be removed from the franchise. Fortunately, this was only a joke, in a video he said that he would “kill Kevin Hart’s character off for good,” and he joked how that is something audience would love to see.

Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle was done differently from the original in which the game came to our world. This time around, a group of kids enters the Jumanji video game, and the avatars they choose are played by Hart, Johnson, Gillan, and Black. The sequel is just gaining some momentum, and it is at its start, on top of that, we know how busy Dwayne is so it might be a while before we get to see him working on this movie.
