Fallout 4 VR Release Date!

Fallout fans around the world, rejoice! Bethesda revealed that the Fallout 4 VR version is coming out in October! Many video game companies are spreading onto the new platform of Virtual Reality. Considering how famous the Fallout gaming series is, the only right move for Bethesda was to make a version of their game for the VR. And that’s exactly what happened.

There already are numerous hardware platforms for the VR such as the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PlayStation VR. This promises a bright future for all those who want to virtually immerse into the open-world gaming. According to a report released by Polygon, Bethesda will make their most popular game available on two platforms. Those are the HTC Vive and PlayStation VR.

We had a chance to see the trailer for the VR version of the Fallout during the E3 conference. The trailer lasted for about a minute and a half, and there we could see the all too familiar wasteland, post-nuclear landscapes and also all the customization and crafting options. One thing that stood out was the design of the Pip-Boy. Since there are no hands in Fallout 4 VR, the Pip-Boy looked kind of strange. It is speculated that the company avoided tricky obstacles when it comes to devising a system of hand-tracking.

This game isn’t the first of its kind when it comes to VR platform. Doom VFR is also coming to VR platforms however it will be exclusive to the HTC Vive system whereas Bethesda also decided to include the PlayStation VR.

E3 2017 started on June 13, and three days later we already have some huge news like this. We are super excited and are looking forward to playing Fallout 4 VR in October. The transition from the usual platforms to VR might be a true gaming revolution.
