Fantasy Predictions Week 5: Start Or Sit Joe Flacco

Do you maybe have Russell Wilson on your Fantasy team or any other QB that is on a bye week? Don’t worry; we got you covered with a proper replacement. You can just relax and watch him do his thing on Sunday.

Joe Flacco has been decent to start the season. He has thrown for just over a 1000 yards in his first four games. Ravens’ signal caller also has four TD tosses and four interceptions on his stats for this year so far.

Flacco can be found on waiver wires of most of the leagues on NFL.com, especially in standard scoring leagues. If you don’t have a quarterback for Week 5, we suggest you pick up Flacco and start him on Sunday.

Why? Because he is going up against the Redskins. This team is just horrendous against the pass. They can’t defend it to save their lives. They will make a few nice plays here and there, but overall, they just can’t stop the passing game. And now they are on the road, against Aa 3-1 team, with fired up Steve Smith Sr. after that last week’s trash talk.

We expect Flacco to throw for at least 300 yards, two TDs, and no more than one INT. If he is on his best game, he might even throw for more touchdowns with no interceptions. But we are going to stick with our original prediction that will get you 22.00 fantasy points on NFL.com, 19 points on Yahoo Fantasy and 18 points on ESPN Fantasy. Start Joe Flacco.
