Google has been quiet about the new Nexus 7, so there are no official confirmations. According to some reports, the display of the new Nexus will be 7-inch AMOLED and the resolution will be 2560 x 1400 pixels. It is likely that the phone is going to have Snapdragon 820 chipset on board in addition to the Adreno 530 graphics processing unit.

Evan Blass also stated that the Google Nexus 7 2016 will have 4GB of RAM. According to some other reports, the native storage will be 64GB and the operating system will be new Android Nougat. The camera will have 13 megapixels and the Nexus’s navigation will be more efficient. Also, there will be support for Virtual-Reality.
