My Hero Academia Season 2 Latest News

After a long period of anticipation, My Hero Academia Season 2 release date has recently been announced. At first, it was said that it will be available in April, but now it is finally officially confirmed that the upcoming season is set to come out on March 25 this year. In addition to this, it’s been also said that certain websites are going to reveal something about the anime updates, as well as news on the original video anime (OVA), titled Training of the Dead.

At the moment, we still don’t know much about the updates Season 2 will receive. The Weekly Shonen Jump, which is supposed to give some hints about what the upcoming episodes will look like, said that they are still not ready to do so and that they will most likely reveal the anime changes in the next week’s issue.

It has also been reported that we will learn more about new characters, too. Some of them include Habuko Mongoose and Romero Fujimi. Maaya Uchida will take on the role of Mongoose, while Ryouhei Kimura, a famous Japanese voice actor, will play Fujimi. Once again, the anime was written by Yousuke Kuroda, but, unlike Season 1, this one will be directed by Kohei Horikoshi, who is also in charge of new character designs for the OVA.

When it comes to “Training of the Dead,” its Volume 14 will also be published soon, in June this year, while Volume 13 is set to see the light of day in April.

But, once again, don’t forget that the anime Season 2 is the first one to be available, there’s less than a month left. In the meantime, don’t miss the next week’s The Weekly Shonen Jump and have a sneak peek at the upcoming events in My Hero Academia.
