Mobile DNG Raw Photography now available on iOS10, Adobe Presented Lightroom for Mobile 2.5

If you happen to be an iPhone user, then you must know what is the only raw file format directly integrated into your operating system. Of course, it is the Adobe DNG that is able to provide the best quality of images and a lot of editing features. It’s great for both capturing and editing photos. Now, Adobe has released an update to Lightroom for mobile, which makes it one of the first apps to capture Adobe DNG photos on iOS 10 Apple devices.


After the iOS 10 was presented, both Apple and iOS are open for using DNG – raw photography format made by Adobe. It is the proof that Adobe for sure is the leader in the digital photography. For decades now. The released Lightroom for mobile 2.5 provides the whole package Adobe DNG raw mobile photography workflow and providing the full support for the new wide gamut of P3 colors that can be found in the iPad Pro 9.7 and the freshly released iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Apple App Store is the place to search for the Lightroom for mobile 2.5. Of course, a device using iOS 10 with at least 12MP camera is necessary. Those can be found in the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, iPad Pro 9.7 and, of course, the newest iPhone models – iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
