Ripsaw Extreme Vehicle 2 From Dwayne Johnson Fate Of The Furious Movie Is Tested By The U.S. Army

A lightweight tracked vehicle that is due to make its official appearance in the latest F&F movie sequel – “The Fate of the Furious” has apparently drawn the attention of the Pentagon. Guess what they want to use it for?!

The Ripsaw Extreme Vehicle 2 (EV2) is developed by Howe Technologies Inc. and its advertised as a “luxury super tank” thanks to the Maine-based military contractor. As it turns out the officials over at Pentagon and US Army think it may be more useful to soldiers than Hollywood actors and studios. As we found out, thanks to report, it is now being tested at Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey for its possible battlefield potential. According to the same report from, we found out that Maj. Gen. Cedric T. Wins, head of U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, actually took a ride in this $250,000 vehicle during a demonstration.

If you go over to the defense website you can find a “superficial” analysis of the said EV2 and it says that thanks to its aluminum frame and firepower limitations it is “closer in size to the Humvee than a tank” but it seems that they are very much impressed with its top speed of near 100 miles per hour which they called impressive. “That may be why […] the Army remains interested in seeing how it might incorporate the EV2 into its combat formations” was a statement from a website. It continued by saying “We’re fascinated by the technology and reaching out to the Army to learn more about how officials are evaluating this slick ride, which is almost guaranteed to get more popular in the months and years ahead.” If this turns out to actually be interesting to US Army maybe we really could see this one in some live combat rather than on the make-believe one on the big screen.

My name is Miloš Kalajdžić and I come from Brčko DC in Bosnia. I was born on July 20 th 1988 and so far I obtained a BSc in economics and one year of working experience in my field of study. I am a very hard-working person who leaves nothing unfinished and halfway done. When I commit to something I give my best to make sure that everything is done the way as it is supposed to be. I like cars and everything that comes with them. My passion are American muscle cars, but unfortunately the closest I managed to come near one is behind my laptop watching an image of the new Chevy or Dodge and writing about it. But that’s ok I’m still optimistic. When I’m not behind the laptop writing I’m on the streets and auto shows admiring all stuff rolling on four wheels being propelled by a petrol engine!
