Tony Romo In Team Drills For The First Time This Season

Don’t expect that this Romo-Prescott-Cowboys saga is going to end anytime soon. It will last even when the Cowboys name their starter for the rest of the season. The other quarterback will be right behind the starter, ready to jump in as soon as the starter makes mistakes. This saga will end when the Cowboys season ends. That is the fact. Tony Romo will be cleared soon, and that is when this story will pick up even more steam.

After working off to the side of the field during Cowboys’ practice on Wednesday, Romo was a limited participant during Thursday’s practice. He did a pre-practice stretching with the team for the first time this season and then participated in the opening individual drills.

Jason Garrett stated that Romo would work with the scout team in 7-on-7 drills, just like he did last week. But, it was also reported that Tony Romo got some 11-on-11 action going with the scout team and making his season debut with the first team during the drills.

Romo is getting closer to returning. Cowboys’ aren’t doing any favors to Dak Prescott by keeping him in the dark about his stats going forward. The hope for this team and their fanbase is that whatever decision they make, it won’t affect what they have going on right now.
