If you thought that any of the other creative mistakes were bad, then you probably forgot about this one. We truly don’t know what they wanted to do with this one except make Jordan become more of a star by having him rub shoulders with a beloved Hall of Famer. It seems that the creative team started airing those mystery phone call skits, and they didn’t have any particular long-term plan in mind back then. It looked like they caught the wind with this by taking some random, online fan theory (the one that was least ridiculous of course), and pumped it in the air. The only thing left to be seen is where this will take Jordan’s career. The prospect of him being in a middling tag team alongside Chad Gable looks like a reality so far.
