Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) will soon provide a new advertising feature for brand profiles. This feature enables the corporate users to pin their apps right on their profile page. The official announcement of the new feature has not been made as yet.

As observed by some users, profile pages of some established brands like Uber saw changes in last week. Most notable change was the new app install feature that appeared on their profile. This feature has not appeared on every corporate profile. It seems that the company is testing this feature for selected profiles. This feature gives the details of the app along with the app rating on Appstore. The integrated mobile app install is intended to drive more app install through the world’s leading social network.

The change has been confirmed for a few verified business accounts such as Periscope, Vine and Uber. User can notice the option to download the app on the brand profiles. It is believed that this new mobile app advertising unit will drive more traffic for app downloads. The brands which have more than one app will be able to showcase their latest app. On a related note, the company had revealed its plan to put mobile advertising in the feed of suggested app last month.
