How Did Vince Feel After Jinder Mahal Won The Title?

Backlash pay per view was the place where the new WWE Champion was crowned. In one of the biggest upsets, against all the odds, a guy that was a jobber for a very long time has won the greatest prize in all of the wrestling. Now, Jinder Mahal is going to hold the same title that Stone Colds of the world and The Rocks of the world have held in their hey-day.

Jinder Mahal’s name is now going to be written in the history books as someone that has held the biggest title in the WWE. A lot of his peers did recognize his hard work and the path that he took in order to get to where he is at today.

There were even reports that he was contacted by the TNA before the WWE decided that they wanted to bring him back. In the end, the WWE is a goal for most of the wrestlers around the world and the choice for him was not that difficult. After the match, he was pretty much on the top of the world, probably not even knowing how to feel as he had just achieved his life-long dream. He was asked about what Vince McMahon has said and how he felt after Mahal won the title. Here is what the new champ had to say.

“The backstage reaction has been very good. Vince was very happy. He was really proud of me because Vince knows how much work I’ve put in. And I told Vince, ‘Hey Vince, my goal is to come back every week and improve. Every time you see me perform I’m going to get better on the mic, going to get better in the ring and I’ll be in better shape every week. I think Vince really appreciates that and WWE is a place where they reward hard work and I’m an example of that.”
