WWE Hell In A Cell – What Happened There?

Well, sometimes WWE truly knows how to make a story like in some Soap TV Show. This time around, it involved so many of the superstars that it is hard to even keep track of all participants.

Hell In A Cell didn’t bring any changes when it comes to Universal Championship since Roman Reigns managed to defend his title against Braun Strowman.

Let’s begin the story with SummerSlam that was held during the last month and where we saw Reigns finally taking the title of long-reigning heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar. Since The Monster Among Men had the Money In The Bank briefcase, it meant that it is only a matter of time when he will be bringing it and face The Big Dog for the title, and most likely, take it.

Two of the biggest superstars, Strowman and Reigns were planned to go against each other one more time, and we know that they already had multiple duels. Prior to that, Roman continued to receive boos from the fans, and he was supposed to be the face of the company that tried very hard to market him as a good guy. On the other hand, Strowman, who destroyed pretty much anyone in his path, became so popular that he is second only to Daniel Bryan.

When Reigns took the universal title from Brock, it was time for Strowman to bring in the briefcase. This forced a heel turn for The Monster Among Men, and he was teamed up with Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler. Even with this, Braun was cheered when he was talking about Hell In A Cell match in which he promised to destroy Roman.

What happened next is pretty much a Soap TV Show plot made by WWE. If you wanted to see Strowman with the title, you were disappointed, but the fans of Reigns also didn’t get to see their favorite wrestler beating Braun. Lesnar decided to show up, and he destroyed both of these guys; this resulted in a no contest.

That’s not all. Both The Monster Among Men and The Big Dog have allies, and we saw them as Rollins and Ziggler were fighting and ultimately fell from the side of the cage to announce tables.
