Dez Bryant’s contract level of $17 million tells you that he is one of the leaders of the Cowboys. Or, he is supposed to be one. He has shown that he is not capable of being the number one wide receiver and although his catches increased from 50 to 66, his number of yards stayed more or less on the same level – 815 this season compared to 796 in 2016. Moreover, Bryant has had two fewer touchdowns and the average of 12.3 yards per catch.

This year we have seen Bryant failing to catch passes and struggling to separate himself from his guards. Every coverage seemed like a new issue for him, and the worst thing is that this guy is not going to improve in the years to come.
