The 2017 Mazda CX-3 was not facelifted, but the company made sure to refresh the model at least slightly. Originally introduced in 2014, the CX-3, this lineup will now receive a GT Sport special edition. Mazda’s crossover will hit the market in the UK this summer, and it will carry the price tag of £18,495.

Speaking of the new GT Sport, only 500 vehicles will be available for the UK buyers – with the manual and automatic transmission – and they will be priced at £22,895 and £24,095 respectively. This subcompact crossover will come with “unique styling cues” and a 2.0-liter SkyActiv-G good for 120 PS under the hood.

The 2017 Mazda CX-3 GT Sport will be equipped with silver inserts and a black roof spoiler which makes the car more stylish. The driving dynamics of the 2017 Mazda CX-3 has been improved with the engineers re-tuning front and rear dampers, recalibrating electric power steering system and adding new front lower arm rear side bushings. The ride quality has also improved due to these changes, but what we also need to mention is G-Vectoring Control. This system increases driver’s comfort in the corners and varies engine torque to optimize the front wheel load.

The program manager of the CX-3, Michio Tomiyama talked about the redesigned model: “This update ensures the CX-3 will continue to resonate with cutting-edge customers who feel strongly about their cars. As a result, we redoubled our efforts to enhance the quality feel of the CX-3.”
