2Rod Marinelli – Defensive Coordinator
Some people blame head Coach Jason Garrett for the issues Dallas is facing, and we completely understand why you are upset with Garrett. Team owner, Jerry Jones has said on numerous occasions that he wanted Garrett to stay, but if this man is staying, then somebody needs to go, and it is Rod Marinelli. He was a good fit at first, but he replaced Monte Kiffin who had an awful season.
His philosophy is that it is okay for the opposing teams to advance as long as they don’t score. Well, if they win yardage, they will score eventually. The defensive unit of the Cowboys changed drastically compared to the last season, but we cannot blame it all on the young and inexperienced players. Instead of improving the defense game after game, it is more or less the same the entire season.
