Another Big Star Sits During National Anthem

One of the biggest stories in the first part of 2016 NFL season was Colin Kaepernick and his quiet protest that became a trend. He didn’t want to stand up when the National anthem was being played. As a matter of fact, he did take a knee as a sign of a protest and because of the cause that he was fighting for. He just wanted to express his beliefs and feelings.

He did not do it because he didn’t have the love for the country, the arms that protect it or because he doesn’t want to be a part of it. It was nothing like that. Kaep sees that there is injustice in the United States of America, that certain people of a certain race are miss treated all over the country. He equality between the people is something that he was fighting for.

At the end of the day, that kind of protest is what causes him to not have a job in the NFL right now. A lot of teams didn’t even take a look at him because of the distraction that he would bring to the table, even though some of those teams really did not have a valid option at the QB position.

In his first game back in the NFL, Marshawn Lynch did the same thing. He does support Kaepernick, but he also supports his beliefs and shares them. This is not as big as when Kaep did it at first, but there are going to be some shows talking about this first thing on Monday and will probably discuss whether or not this is going to become a trend again.
