Aston Martin AM-RB 001 Will Be Unveiled in Toronto

The vehicle by Aston Martin dubbed AM-RB 001 is one of the supercars we have been waiting for in 2017, and it has been officially announced that it will be unveiled at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto later in February.

The Aston Martin AM-RB 001 was shown to the public for the first time in July 2016 in company’s headquarters in the UK, and now everyone will have a chance to see this beautiful machine in Toronto. Furthermore, this supercar is also supposed to be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March, but this has yet to be confirmed.

The company chief executive Andy Palmer, who will also be in Toronto, has recently declared: “The AM-RB 001 is destined to become the defining hypercar of this decade and a hugely desirable investment for collectors and enthusiasts.”

Aston Martin developed this vehicle together with Red Bull Technologies, and so far they are not giving any information about the new AM-RB 001. This supercar will be powered by a naturally-aspirated V12, but it might also get a small electric motor.

This powerplant will probably rev over 10,000 rpm, thus producing a crazy amount of power and allowing the car a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio. Although the output of the engine remains unknown, we know that it will produce a lot of hp. You can certainly remember recently announced F1 derived Mercedes hypercar, but it seems that Aston Martin will take a slightly different approach to achieving insane power. What is even more fascinating is the use of enhanced underfloor aerodynamics.

The ex-Formula 1 designer Adrian Newey was responsible for the AM-RB 001’s floor, which should enable the supercar to go as fast as some of the current F1 race cars. Once the Aston Martin AM-RB 001 gets its introduction in Toronto, we will, hopefully, get more details, so stay tuned.
