Cowboys Beat The Redskins To Earn Their 10th Straight Win

It wasn’t easy, but the Cowboys got it done on Thanksgiving day against the Washington Redskins. Their streak started against this team back in Week 2, and they haven’t lost ever since they have beaten biggest foes back in September.

Terrence Williams‘ beautiful catch was the play that ended the first half. That TD catch was big for the Cowboys as their lead was stretched to 11 at that point.

It turned out that their 17:6 lead was not safe at all. Redskins scored an early TD in the third quarter, and it was enough to send the message to the Cowboys. It was clear that the Redskins are not going to go down without a fight. Dallas responded with Dak Prescott‘s TD run, but another Washington’s score forced Dallas to play until the end. That is what they did so that late TD by Jordan Reid ended up being just a good effort by Washington and nothing more.

Dallas holds a two-game lead over the Giants, and they are putting the pressure on them to keep winning games before their encounter in New York. Cowboys are one of the NFL’s best team, and now it’s expected that they are going to win every single match. Running the table and winning every duel this season would be a great accomplishment, but maybe a loss is needed to reset them and get them focused in the Postseason.

Before they secure their division, they need to go all-out and not think about slowing down before the finish line.
