The upcoming ‘big thing’ from Square Enix’s kitchen ‘Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of an Elusive Age‘ is coming in 2018 in North America! When it comes to platforms we know that Dragon Quest 11 will be available on Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation 4. Square Enix is releasing the game for the mentioned platforms this weekend in Japan but we are yet to hear anything about game’s possible release elsewhere on the globe. Square Enix previously claimed that Dragon Quest 11 ‘is bound for Nintendo Switch’ but they still haven’t provided a release date for that version. This game was one of the few original titles announced especially for Switch earlier when the console bore the name of ‘Nintendo NX’.

The company kept quiet when it comes to other platforms on which the game will be released in 2018, they didn’t even want to reveal whether we’ll get the unusual PS4 and 3DS bundle that shipped in Japan recently. The only thing publisher revealed in the announcement was that the company will reveal more info on Dragon Quest 11 ‘sometimes this fall’.

‘Adventure of a hero who must solve the mystery of his fate with the aid of a charming cast of supporting characters’ is how Square Enix described the basic storyline of the Dragon Quest 11. Yuji Hori, Dragon Quest series creator, Akira Toriyama, artist and Koichi Sugiyama, the composer also made notable contributions to the game’s development and creation.

We’ll leave a YouTube video for you where Hori announced Dragon Quest 11’s localization. Watch the video down below:
