How Does Jim Ross Feel About Lesnar vs. Samoa Joe?

One of the biggest main events this year is going to be the one that we will have a chance to see next month at the Great Balls of Fire pay per view when Samoa Joe challenges Brock Lesnar for his Universal title. It is a battle between two of the most dominant superstars that WWE has on their roster right now, and it should be a good one.

Many people believe that the WWE is giving this match to the fans way too early as this showdown can easily be one of the main duels at any Wrestlemania event. That truly shows you just how big of a matchup this really is. Maybe this is not the best time for the battle of these two wrestlers as it may seem that Joe is merely a stepping stone for the Beast Incarnate on his way to fighting Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 34 next year in New Orleans.

On the other hand, there are a lot of fans that are excited about this match. One of them is also one of the greatest wrestling personalities in the history of this business. Jim Ross has reacted to this main event at the Great Balls of Fire PPV event and here is what he had to say about the duel.

“I say that the Lesnar-Joe match will receive plenty of talk/hype over the next several weeks and that the two, physically demanding athletes will provide us a tremendous one on one main event in Dallas. I am personally looking forward to this match as much as any match I can recall this year and will tell you that it is an announcer’s dream to be privileged to call a bout like this.”

JR also stated that this is the match that he proposed during his show just one night before Wrestlemania 31 at the Levi Stadium when Samoa Joe was his guest.
