New York Giants vs. Green Bay Packers – Week 5 Picks And Predictions

We haven’t seen Packers in action since Week 3. After the bye week, they will be hosting the New York Giants on their home turf, at Lambeau Field. Aaron Rodgers and his offense have lit up Lions in the first half of their last duel, but have failed to find the end zone in the second. Should they be worrying about that?

Probably not. Aaron Rogers is great at home, just like the Packers are. Lambeau Field is a place in which is very tough for opponents to win games. Jordy Nelson has had one extra week to prepare and return to his true form while Randall Cobb also had that much-needed rest to clear his head and bounce back after his horrid start to the season.

On the other hand, we have the Giants who are 2-2 and on a two-game losing streak. Dropping that game to the Redskins at home can do more damage that they imagined. Now they are at .500 and playing the Packers on the road. Not really the position you want to be in.

Odell Beckham Jr. should and will bounce back after that worst game of his career against the Vikings. Eli Manning and this Giants offense will put up some points on the board as Packers’ defense ain’t the greatest. But Aaron will also have his say. Giants have improved secondary, but still, Rodgers should be able to score on this squad.

Giants have been successful in the past against the Packers. They were the ones that had beaten them at Lambeau in 2012 when they had that 15-1 season. But, this time, Green Bay will prevail. We are picking the Packers to take this game with 31:20 as a final result.
