Written by Ishio Yamagata and illustrated by Miyagi, “Rokka no Yuusha” is a light novel series which was first published in 2011. While the manga adaptation followed the very next year, the anime was not released until 2015. More precisely, it started airing in June, and it ended in September the same year, as Season 1 brought only twelve episodes.

The story of Rokka no Yuusha revolves around warriors who are supposed to save the world from The Majin, i.e. the Demon God. The heroes are chosen by the Goddess of Fate, who takes over control when the Demon God awakes, and she appoints six warriors, the Braves, to fight him and save the humanity. However, once they gather, it turns out that, somehow, there are seven of them, which puzzles them and leads them to doubt that there is an impostor among them, who was sent by the Demon God himself to ruin their plans. And that’s how their battle begins, somewhere in a dense forest.

In Rokka no Yuusha Season 1 we don’t get to find out whether the seventh member of the crew is really an enemy or not. They are trying to resolve this mystery, but the question still remains unanswered. Thus, we assume that the anime is definitely going to be renewed for the second season. The last episode of Season 1 left us only with groups decision to focus on killing the Demon King instead of trying so hard to find out who the seventh Brave is, but that doesn’t mean much, right? We didn’t learn who is hiding behind the mysterious identity, but we didn’t come to know whether they manage to defeat the Demon King, either.

Rokka no Yuusha Season 2 Release Date

Since the story about the six Braves has not been completed in the first season in any way, we should definitely expect the next one to come out. Unfortunately, the official release date has not been confirmed, but it is speculated that the anime Season 2 might be available by the end of this year, or we will at least know more about it. So, follow us, and we’ll keep you updated.
