The Rock Shares The Private Tale About Tupac’s Song „All Eyes On Me“

Dwayne „The Rock” Johnson is one of the highest-paid action stars in Hollywood, but before that, we all know him from professional wrestling matches. He keeps us posted about his projects, personal life and jokes about Kevin Hart on the regular, via his social media accounts. Recently, he felt the need to indulge in enjoyable recollection of his pre-WWE days, mentioning one of his favorite Tupac Shakur songs and also embolden his fans to stay true to themselves.

Some of you may not know, but Rock goes way back before WWE. Before he became a professional wrestler, he performed on the independent scene for fans. On his match at a flea market in Memphis for the USWA, he decided to walk out to certain song, for which he almost got fired. That song was All Eyes On Me by Tupac. The organizer was really mad because of it, explaining: “There’s kids out there, there’s a lot of ‘motherfuckers’ in the song and n-words”. Johnson didn’t want to replace the song, and instead he used the clean version for the rest of his stay in the company.

He said the song represented his struggle to become one of the bests, and therefore he considered it one of his “personal anthems”.
