Things you didn’t know about The Rock’s girlfriend Lauren Hashian

11Father of Lauren Hashian was a well-known rock’n’roll drummer

Rest In Peace & Love to my second dad Sib Hashian. Don't know why things have to happen the way they do sometimes. When loved ones leave us so suddenly without having a chance to say goodbye. Perhaps the lesson here is the reminder to live our lives as full and as present as we possibly can, because we just never know what's around the corner. What a full and exciting life this man lived. What an amazing family he created, loved, watched over and protected. Being on stage, in front of adoring fans, friends and family. Keeping the beat one last time. Your passing in this manner is extremely poetic and somehow beautiful. Thank you for the many life lessons you've taught over the years. Grateful. We love you Sib. We miss you. Yhmwitcoltroml. "Hasan burgers" for everyone in heaven.

Lauren’s father was John “Sib” Hashian, drummer of the rock band Boston that came to the scene in 1970’s. This man joined them as a replacement for the Jim Masdea as it was requested in 1975 by Epic Records. He played on the self-titled debut of the group that was released in 1976 and on the album that followed. Later on, in the mid-1980s Jim Masdea came back and replaced Sib.

In March 2017 Sib died, but he died doing what he loved most, playing music. At the age of 67, he was on the Legends of Rock Cruise with his ex-Boston colleague Barry Gordon when he collapsed and unfortunately passed away. When that happened, the band left the message on the Facebook “Sib’s high-energy drumming on the early BOSTON albums and tours leaves a legacy that will be remembered by millions.”

One of the many that posted messages about this mans life and how he died was The Rock. He added heartwarming image and wrote: “Being on stage, in front of adoring fans, friends and family. Keeping the beat one last time. Your passing in this manner is extremely poetic and somehow beautiful. Thank you for the many life lessons you’ve taught over the years. Grateful. We love you Sib. We miss you.”
