2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA Will See Minor Updates

The Mercedes-Benz GLA debuted three years ago, but at that time it didn’t appear in the North America. The US citizens had to wait 2014, for this model to be launched in the country. It’s been a while since the last upgrade and according to the prototype spotted in Germany it will see some improvements soon.

As spy shots confirm the only front and rear bumpers will witness some minor enhancements, since they were the only camouflaged parts, whereas the rest of the vehicle will remain the same. What this proves is that the GLA is one of the finest cars in the SUV segment.

Considering that Mercedes had already made the mechanical changes with their 2016MY, they are unnecessary at the moment. The standard model will remain equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 unit that produces 208 hp. On the other hand, the high-performance Mercedes-AMG GLA45 comes with the same engine, but it is good for 375 hp, which is 20 hp more than the previous unit.

The GLA comes with the FWD, but the German company offered an AWD. Furthermore, the vehicle has a 7-speed dual clutch transmission across the range.

The revised GLA will hit the market as a 2018 model year. Follow us for more details.
