Garry Rathore was working on his truck about a half mile away from the site of the crash.

“When I got outside it was, just, boom,” he said. “It was flaming all around. … It just dropped out of the sky.”

Rathore said the plane went down sometime between 12:45 and 1 p.m. local time.

“I see all around the ambulances and the fire truck,” he said. “It was pretty scary. You can’t unsee these things.”
