Plot & Summary

The storyline of the series revolves around Detective Inspector John River whose character is portrayed by Stellan Skarsgård. Namely, he desperately tries to investigate the murder of his female partner which recently happened. Moreover, his search for the murderer gets complicated because he is haunted by visions of the victims of his other cases, which disturbs him in the most important search to him. The first season of “River” debuted on October 13, 2015, and ended on November 17, 2015. At this moment neither BBC One nor Netflix have said anything officially on the renewal or possible cancellation of the TV Show. If we look into universal acclaim and amazing television rating, we have every right to hope for its sequel. Let’s hope that studio delivers confirmation regarding the continuation of the story and that we will be watching River Season 2 as soon as possible.
